Our Story

Two Roads. One Calling.

Husband-and-wife team Adrian & Marena Quijano founded AqTEAM Realty in 2026 on the values of service, discipline, and integrity — and a deep commitment to the families they serve.

The two took different roads to the same calling: Adrian, a leader shaped by faith and service; Marena, a third-generation real estate professional who grew up in the business. Together they set out to build something of their own — a boutique team where transparency, accountability, and genuine care lead every transaction.

Today, AqTEAM Realty is 25 dedicated agents strong — agents who together closed $110 million in volume in 2025 before uniting under the AqTEAM banner — serving buyers, sellers, and investors across San Diego County with a mission that goes beyond any single transaction.

Meet Marena & Adrian

Marena Quijano, Co-Founder of AqTEAM Realty

Marena Quijano

Co-Founder

Marena is a third-generation real estate professional with a lifelong connection to the industry. She started at 18 in her uncle's real estate business — stuffing open-house bags and hand-writing client cards — and as social media reshaped the business, she discovered a gift for marketing and design, building campaigns that ran on everything from bus benches to billboards.

She earned her real estate license in 2021 and proved her dedication by helping families navigate a fast-moving market. Along the way she found her passion for luxury real estate — serving clients who expect exceptional properties and service to match.

Today, Marena leads AqTEAM Realty alongside her husband Adrian with a focus on kindness, community, and legacy-building. Looking ahead to growing both her family and the team, she's excited about the future — for her clients, and for the generations that follow.
